In 1999 Satellite Records, a short lived off-shoot of Soul Jazz Records and Universal Sounds, held two concerts showcasing their acts. The first was on a Friday night at the iconic Notre Dame Hall near Leicester Square – then equipment, bands and entourage all boarded a coach and headed for a squat venue in Rue de la Grange aux Belles across the Channel in Paris, to perform on Saturday night all over again.

I was asked to take photographs of the events, some of the resulting images were later published in Sleaze Nation Magazine but most have been languishing in an envelope on my shelf since the event.

I do intend to go through them all shortly and post up the edited highlights.
